Cooperative learning is one kind of new teaching theory and strategies system.During the teaching process, it is a sort of teaching strategies as well as a way of study which is use study groups as the basic organizational form of teaching. Teachers and students accomplish learning tasks with each other through the coordination of activities together, and take the overall performance of small groups as the main basis of awarding.China's new curriculum reform advocated the learning way of cooperation exchange and self-inquiry learning strongly.'The new course standards of Junior Biology'expressly stated that: "Changing the phenomenon that overemphasizes the accept of study , the mechanical memorizing and training, initiates the student to participate activitively,to be glad to explore,to be diligent in hands-on, training the ability of students to gather and process information , the ability to acquire new knowledge, the ability to analyse and solve problems and and the ability to exchange and cooperation. "The main benefits of cooperative learning are as follows: It transform the competition between individuals into a team competition which is not only foster a optimization of culture but also a awareness and ability of co-operation.It help students develop the spirit of team and mutual help, make different students development simultaneously which is make up for the inadequacy of teaching. In summary, the author has designed a four study groups based on teaching practice (see Figure3-1-1), and bring forward two specific group cooperative learning model for new courses and refresher courses (see table3-1-2).On the basis of this cooperative learning model,the author carry on education and teaching practice research at NanGuan Middle School in Tai'an City. During the teaching experiment, the implementation strategies of cooperative learning is independent variables, students'interest in learning biology, cooperation ability, learning adaptability and score is the dependent variable , strictly control other irrelevant variables and pursue information - statistics, data analysis, and describes the differences in characteristics at the same time.After a semester ,the experimental research has made some successful experiences such as: cooperative learning can enhance students'achievements and promote the quality of their development; it is able to enrich learning methods as well as conducive to personality development;it also benefits the improvement of a variety of learning abilities for students.Form the implementation of cooperative learning process, teachers also benefited a lot: Through repeated learning, training, practical experience,the author has formed a correct understanding of the basic theory of cooperative teaching.The practical experience make the author feel that cooperative learning should be implement in the lowest grade with holding all subjects simultaneously.only in the long-term teaching practice, students will gradually develop a sense of co-operative learning, will gradually study co-operative learning by heart. To ensure the successful completion of co-operation, teachers and students must work together at the same time and have the co-operation skills. At the same time, classroom assessment is a strong protection to ensure that cooperative learning conduct normally and lastingly so that various evaluation methods should be used as a combination approach during the cooperative learning.In a word, to carry out cooperative learning groups in biology class, it should be based on new biological curriculum reform, take quality education as the highest policy, pursue the development of innovative abilities and the improvement of study quality,make full use of teachers'function as the role of helpers and supporters.TO think and design from the design of teaching objectives,the development of curriculum resource, selection and use of cognitive tools, osmosis and cultivation of emotion, attitude and values, and truly make the students happy and interest to learn biological knowledge, to develop scientific literacy so as to enhance their core competitiveness.
