Research On Xi，an City Rural Residents、Consumption Structure Evolution And Its Upgrade

According to the theory of regional economics,regional development driving forcemainly comes from two aspects: demand pulling force;science and technology thrust.2008’ssubprime crisis that countries will shift the focus to consumer, naturally,our country also willexpand domestic demand as a strategy，using this power to achieve steady and rapid economicdevelopment,improve macroscopical adjusting control,optimize investmentstructure,accelerate the consumption, investment, export economy growth to newsituation.Our country is population big country,rural population is numerous,however due tolong time by two yuan in urban and rural areas of institutional constraints, rural infrastructure,rural dweller income low,leading to lack of consumption ability,more studies show that thisdecline is mainly rural residents causes,so as to China to expand rural residents consumptiondemand to economic development is very important.Based on the regional economics and consumer economics theory as a guide, the paneldata and time series data, based on the analysis of rural residents’ consumption of Xi’an,analysis of historical evolution and its characteristics, with the Engel coefficient method andAIDS model on the consumption structure of rural residents in Xi’an status empirical analysis,to international metropolitan construction and planning of urban and rural developmentbackground, summed up its consumption structure change trend, find out rural dweller toconsume heat, put forward to promote the Xi’an city country dweller consumes a structure toupgrade suggestions.Through the research, this paper comes to the following conclusions:1.with the development of economy and people income increases continuously, Xi’anCity, the consumption level of rural residents has been improved significantly. Through Engelcoefficient changes can be detected, Xi’an city town residents Engel coefficient from the earlyninety’s47.4down to31.29in2010, from food and clothing to march toward well-off stage.2.the consumption structure of rural residents, Xi’an city food, clothing and other basicconsumption expenditure has decreased significantly, medical treatment and transportationand communication expenses ratio showed a steady upward trend. In the city of Xi’an City, rural resident consumption level of a certain upgrade, consumptive structure is improvedsomewhat.3.expenditure elasticity elasticity of demand analysis, household equipment andcommunications from price elasticity is positive, prices, expenses also rises subsequently,shows that the rural residents pay more attention to these two consumption. On theeducational and cultural entertainment education project insufficient consumption,consumption tendency of weak.This thesis thinks that should be mainly from the following aspects the optimization andupgrading of the consumption structure of rural residents in Xi’an City:(1) to increase theincome of rural residents and solve the problem of" liquidity constraint".(2) to improve therural residents’ social security system, increase manpower capital investment, boost ruralconsumer confidence.(3) improve the consumption policy, cultivate rural dweller’s newconsumption heat.
