Statistical Analysis Of Consumption Structure Data Of Urban And Rural Residents In Heilongjiang Province

Since China's economy entered the new normal state,the living quality of people keeps improving,and the consumption level of residents has also been increasing.Because the consumption structure of residents plays an important role in social and economic life,it is of great economic implications to study the change of residents' consumption structure.By sampling the consumption structure data of Heilongjiang urban-rural residents during the period 1994 to 2016 as the object of the research,the paper studies the consumption level's characteristics and consumption structure's difference of urban-rural residents in Heilongjiang,analyzes the consumption structure data of urban-rural residents with the factor analysis method,and uses the AIDS model to make further analysis on the expenditure elasticity and price elasticity.The study results show that: the urban-rural residents' income has increased,but the urban residents' income rises faster than that of rural residents,and the results of the discrepancy test show that urban-rural residents have the greatest differences in clothing expenditures;the factor analysis results indicates that three common factors can be extracted for the data of urban-rural residents' consumption structure;the results of the AIDS analysis demonstrate that urban-rural residents have ample demand for cultural and educational entertainment,transportation,communications,and household equipment,and they are sensitive to the price of home equipment,housing,and transportation.In view of the above conclusion,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions from aspects of increasing resident income,improving public infrastructure,cultivating rational consumption concepts,etc.It aims to improve the resident's consumption environment and guide residents' rational consumption,so as to optimize the industrial structure of Heilongjiang province and promote industrial upgrading.
