The Research On The Influence Of Knowledge Sharing On The Service Quality In Regional Manufacturing Network

Since the manufacturing industries increasingly tend to configure manufacturing resourceson a global scale, manufacturing enterprises realize to promote the service quality based on theformation of the manufacturing network. At the same time, as an important resource ofenterprises, knowledge plays a vital role in promoting the service quality.This study explores the influence mechanism of inter-enterprises knowledge sharing inmanufacturing network on service quality with grounded theory method. First, furnituremanufacturing network of Hebei Xianghe, furniture manufacturing network of Hebei Shengfangand electric bicycle manufacturing network of Tianjin are selected as the research objects, wherewe collect data by the method of intensive interview and survey, and Internet and literaturedatabase are supplied into the data. Second, opening coding and axial coding of grounded theoryare performed, elements of knowledge sharing and service quality in manufacturing network arediscussed, then measurement of knowledge sharing through questionnaire is studied. At last,following the way of theoretical sampling, internal influence mechanism of knowledge sharingon service quality with core coding is studied.The results of the research are as follows: knowledge sharing in manufacturing networkincludes explorative knowledge sharing and exploitative knowledge sharing; service quality ofmanufacturing enterprise includes tangible, reliability, assurance, responsiveness and empathy.Explorative knowledge sharing directly impacts on the tangible, assurance, responsiveness andempathy of service quality and exploitive knowledge sharing directly impacts the tangible,empathy and reliability of service quality. In addition, this study also finds that enterprises whichcollaboratively conduct exploitive knowledge sharing and explorative knowledge sharing willpromote service quality significantly.This study could provide reference for the enterprises in manufacturing network to improvethe service quality from the perspective of knowledge sharing.
