With the development of economic globalization and information technology, especially the emergence of modularity makes competition relationship between enterprises gradually evolved into the competition among the value network, knowledge sharing is considered to be the key issues affecting the cooperation performance among the enterprises in value network, which attacted more attention by academic circles. However, knowledge sharing faces the risk of knowledge leakage in improving enterprises to accelerate technological innovation and management innovation.Actually the process of enterprises' knowledge sharing is the game process, the application of game theory to study the knowledge sharing among enterprises becomes an important research approach.Based on this, the paper studies enterprises' knowledge sharing in value network using game theory from the perspective of modularity. The paper mainly includes three parts: first, summarizes and presents related literature review about the modularity, the modular value network and the knowledge sharing of value network,on the basis of previous studies, the knowledge sharing situation is constructed and described from the two aspects of “gaps in knowledge ownership” and “knowledge complementarity”,and the paper focuses on the research of knowledge and knowledge sharing between the two kinds of structure of sharing possibility is larger.Second, builds an evolutionary game model of knowledge sharing, and the equilibrium stable point of the model and the evolution trend of the system are analyzed through evolutionary game theory.Third,by using the MATLAB software for the two kinds of different structure, the paper carries on the simulation research about the initial conditions of model and parameter values change's influence on the system's evolution trend, and puts forward some corresponding suggestions to promote knowledge sharing. The results of this study show that the initial conditions of enterprises' knowledge sharing has no obvious difference on the effect of system evolution in value network of different relational structures, and the influence of system evolution by relevant parameter value's change is different in value network of different relational structures. The amount of knowledge that can be possessed, the degree of knowledge that can be shared, the degree of the complementarity of knowledge, trust among enterprises, the capacity of knowledge transformation, synergy benefit coefficient, incentive and punishment coefficient have positive influence on strategy choice of enterprises' knowledge sharing. However, the cost and risk of knowledge sharing, extra income coefficient have negative influence on strategy choice of enterprises' knowledge sharing.Further research found that gaps in knowledge ownership have significant differences on the effect of willingness of knowledge sharing between different relational structures, namely when the gap in knowledge ownership is widened, the probability of knowledge sharing becomes smaller in captured relational structure, but larger in complementary-sharing relational structure. However, the degree of knowledge that can be shared and the degree of the complementarity of knowledge have no obvious difference on the effect of willingness of knowledge sharing in different relational structures.By comparison, the influence of parameter variation in captured relational structure is more sensitive, and when the parameter increases or decreases, the system will eventually tend to not participate in knowledge sharing. The research results further reveal the core variables and their effects of knowledge sharing in different relational structures of value network, and provide a certain decision theory support for enterprises of value network participating in knowledge sharing in choosing a shared enterprises.
