Technological Innovation And Performance Of Agricultural Science And Technology Enterprises

Technological innovation of agricultural science and technology (AST) enterprises hasbecome the key of the development of agricultural industry. The government fosters ASTenterprises as the main body of technological innovation, and it is urgent to open “black box” oftechnological innovation and performance. This paper absorbs the previous empirical researchresults, and explores the relationship between technological innovation and performance basedon R&D and marketing capabilities.Firstly，this study build a hypothesis model, and proposes that R&D capability has apositive effect on economic performance; marketing capability has a positive effect on economicperformance; economic performance has a positive effect on social performance. Secondly, weacquire317AST enterprises data through a questionnaire survey. Then we analyze the data withSPSS software and confirmatory factor analysis, and test the hypothesis using the method ofstructural equation model.The results show that stronger R&D and marketing capability will lead to higher businessperformance. Higher business performance will also lead to higher social performance. Thisstudy not only contributes to the literature, but also provides practical implications for ASTenterprises and government.
