CTL (TJ) Co.Ltd Responsible Care Project Implementation Analysis

The chemical industry has a high temperature, high pressure, erode, toxic and pollutioncharacteristics, not only the public think the chemical industry as a high-risk industry and staffalso pay more attention to the work environment, safety and health. At present, HealthEnvironment and Safety (HSE) are the keys of the chemical enterprise management, promotionand implementation the Responsible Care can improve the performance of environment, safetyand health. It also can reduce the production risk. The Responsible Care can help the company toconnect the community effectively and improve the company reliability. The purpose of theResponsible Care is a high level of HSE management, has won the trust of the public, to ensuresustainable development. Responsible Care has changed the image of the chemical industryeffectively; has improved the environment of production; has provided a new model for thecompany’s development.This article takes the theoretical basic of the chemical industry Responsible Care as its entrypoint, mainly introduces the process, content and result of Responsible Care project in CTL(Tianjin). Combined with an actual circumstance from the theory, and according to questionnaireinformation and research data, the author proposes the problem from the process of responsiblecare in CTL (Tianjin). Based on the normal study: the author establishes the model ofResponsible Care and Corporate Performance by using the stakeholder theory as the basicframework, finds the conclusion between the various stakeholders and the company that hascarried out the Responsible Care, and proposes strategies and methods to solve the problem.Empirical study shows: The Responsible Care is an inevitable choice to the chemicalcompanies now. The various of stakeholders surround CTL (Tianjin) have had to bear a greaterresponsibility on the company’s operation performance and organization performance since thecompany had carried out Responsible Care, and the correlation coefficient of the controlvariables in the factors of the various stakeholders to meet significant correlation test, and meetthe company’s performance positively correlated; confirmed through the actual research. Thecompany’s actual situation and the existing management system are able to meet therequirements of Responsible Care implementation.
