Leisure agriculture is an expansion of thefunction of agriculture, and it is a Sunrise Industry in the modern agriculture which has abright future to develop.The purpose of this article is to transfer the surplus labor from countryside to theNon-agricultural industry, promote the efficiency of agriculture, the income of farmer andthe prosperity of rural area through the development of leisure agriculture, and it also playsa positive role in the solving of "3farming" problems, then it will cultivate a new growthpoint of the rural economy. What’s more, it will have a great significance of promoting thedevelopment of both urban and rural area.This article is mainly based on the2007’s central No.1document which emphasizes thespirit of construction of modern agriculture, and regards the "12th Five-Year" plan ofleisure agriculture development as the direction. First of all, the paper uses the backgroundto analysis the origin of balancing the development in urban and rural areas, on the basis ofit, analyzes the background of leisure agriculture. Then, the paper puts forward the purposeand significance of the paper, points out the specific content of this paper, and shows theresearch method and technical route. Secondly, the paper analyzes the theory of urban andrural integration, and the current situation of balancing urban and rural development inHefei. Then it elaborates the dialectical relationship between urban and rural leisureagriculture. Thirdly, based on supply and demand theory of economics, and from the angleof the demand for leisure agriculture, the paper analyzes the demand of leisure agriculturein Hefei through the survey. It also points out that the market position of the developmentof leisure agriculture in Hefei. What’s more, it gives some typical cases about leisureagriculture in Hefei from the angle of supply, like the ‘Nongjiale’ in Dawei, the strawberryin Changfeng, the Feixi Hen and Dashan lake leisure agricultural model in Feidong, andtakes a comparative analysis about these typical cases. At last, this article points out theexisting problems of leisure agriculture in Hefei. According to it, there are some measuresare put forward. This article is written from the perspective of empirical analysis, analyzesthe development of leisure industry in Hefei, and the specific research methods mainlyinclude literature review method, questionnaire survey method, field survey method,multidisciplinary research method. And in the questionnaire survey method, this paper has a specific factors and features analysis of the leisure agriculture visitors’ behavior with theprincipal component analysis.In a word, the leisure agriculture is just an unfolding sunrise industry in our country.It is one of the important ways of balancing urban and rural development, and acceleratingthe integration of urban and rural.
