| Currently, China is promoting the construction of new urbanization, urban agriculturecan provide safety food, improve environmental quality, increase farmers’ income andimprove the urban-rural relations, and promote urban-rural integration. It is a new way tothe construction of new urbanization. In the urban-rural integration perspective, Beijing,Tianjin and other13cities on urban agriculture Analysis of the situation, summed up theproblems, propose appropriate measures for a better development of modern urbanagriculture.With the theoretical framework of urban-rural integration, first, combine the literature,analysis of the concept of urban agriculture, features and functions, types, and therelationship between urban agriculture and rural, urban and urban-rural integration;followed, through situation analysis of13cities of region of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, itshows all cities are abundant of land resources, good agricultural industrial base, abundantlabor, culture and tourism resources, it has an excellent development of urban agriculturefoundation; and then, the principal component analysis and data envelopment analysis for13cities level evaluation and efficiency analysis, showed that the level of development ofurban agriculture and efficiency are not necessarily linked between the various cities inaddition to the efficiency of modern urban agriculture Cangzhou, Baoding and Handannearly years of instability, other cities are gradually improving, the development of a strongsense of modern urban agriculture, efficiency analysis, technical efficiency and scaleefficiency is to be improved; on this basis, in Tianjin ’s urban agriculture for case analysis,summary the problems of urban agriculture; Finally, through empirical analysis and a casestudy in Tianjin, propose some suggestions from the government’s investment, planning,industrial and technological innovation, financial innovation perspective.
