Organizational Socialization describes the adaptive process to the organization afternewcomers are hired, and has been studied in diverse perspective by domestic and foreignresearchers, including the studies on Organizational Socialization Tactics, OrganizationalSocialization Content, Organizational Socialization Process and Employee InitiativeSocialization, etc. There are many studies about the factors affect OrganizationalSocialization, or how Organizational Socialization affects others, like the relationshipbetween Organizational Socialization and Organizational Citizenship Behavior, JobSatisfactory, Job Involvement, etc. Organizational Commitment is another hot topic inOrganizational Behavior field, it is defined as ‘Employees have the feeling of identity withan organization and its goals, and are willing to stay at the organization’. Domestic andforeign researchers have classified Organizational Commitment and Meyer&Allen’sthree-component model has become the dominant one. The three components are AffectiveCommitment, Normative Commitment and Continuance Commitment. The process ofOrganizational Socialization is the key period for new empoyees to develop emotions,commitment and trust to the new organization.A great deal of attention has been paid recently to ‘the generation after80s’who wereborn in1980s. They have become the major force of this time, and control the developmentof society. Because of technology development, the economic level and so on,‘thegeneration after80s’has high turnover rate and low loyalty. So this study will be about ‘thegeneration after80s’, analyzing the relationship between Organizational Socialization andOrganizational Commitment by the way of questionnaire survey and statistics analyze.Hope the result of the study could provide theoretical basis for management practice.The result of the study shows that, Organizational Socialization Tactics andOrganizaitonal Socialization Content are positively related to Affective Commitment, butthe relationship with Normative Commitment and Continuance Commitment depends onrespondents’ gender, level of education, the nature of the company, and so on.
