"Issues of agriculture, farmer and rural area" must be addressed on China’s path of development. Farmers’income is the key to solve the problem. Agricultural land as farmers only a few resources, plays an important role in farmers’income Increasing. Increase in non-farm employment, leading to the transfer of agricultural land, and thus impact on farmers’income. The concentration of agricultural land promotes agricultural development and change. The concentration of agricultural land promotes agricultural development and change. Farmers according to their own conditions create different agricultural land transfer modes. Different agricultural land transfer modes have their own advantages and disadvantages on increasing farmers’income and upgrading agricultural industry. Need careful consideration on the choose the mode of transfer of agricultural land.In this paper, compare the influence of the farmers’income, by the different mode of transfer of agricultural land, shares cooperative system and rental system, to provide a reference to Jiangsu province on selecting the mode of transfer of agricultural land. In this study, household Income is classified as Wage income, business income, property income and transferred income. Limited rational economic man theory, rent theory, and structural change and economic growth theory is the main basis of theoretical analysis. By the empirical test in Jiangsu Province, the paper gets the following conclusion. First, both the share cooperative system and the rental system can improve farmers’income, the share cooperative system is more significant. Second, the share cooperative system and the rental system effect various types of farmer income in different degree. Third, the share cooperative system contributes to the intensive and scale management of farmland, but the rental system play a limited role. Fourth, the share cooperative system is more conducive to long-term interests than the rental system. Fifth, the share cooperative system is difficult to promote, for its investment risk and high cost. Sixth, the share cooperative system is a greater role for the modernization of agriculture. According to the conclusions of this paper, both the share cooperative system and the rental system can improve farmers’income, the share cooperative system is a greater role for the modernization of agriculture and improving farmers’income. So we can carry out the share cooperative system at the right condition area. At the area where can’t meet the condition, to carry out the transfer of agricultural land, farmers’income should be the main consideration. Here the following policy recommendations:(1) The establishment of strict share cooperatives and professional cooperatives to establish conditions.(2)Government increase agricultural subsidies and investment, especially for the transfer of stock cooperatives, specialized cooperatives, and large farming area.(3) Conditions are right to establish a modern rural financial system, the use of the whole society resources to develop agriculture and promote agricultural modernization.(4) Specification shares in cooperatives, professional cooperative management clearly the dominant position of the farmers.(5) Increase the economic construction, vigorously develop the diversified industrial, diversified employment opportunities for farmers to meet the farmers to pursue revenue maximization and career interest goals, thus promoting the transfer of agricultural land.(6) Establishing a sound social security system, increase the amount paid for the transfer of farmers.
