As a pillar industry of national economy, the logistics, involving almost allsectors of the national economy, plays a significant role in promoting regionaleconomic. At the same time, logistics is a cross-regional industry. Especially modernlogistics industry covers all fields of industries and sectors.This paper uses the production date of thirty years in Shanghai area and logisticsindustry, according to the change of the growth rate and contribution rate, to analyzethe impact of the logistics industry. In the empirical part, the logistics industryproduction value as a variable into the Cobb-Douglas production function model, topromote the role of the logistics industry of the economic development of Shanghai.Combined with the gray correlation analysis method, this article researches thedevelopment of industrial structure, the consumption level of residents, infrastructureconstruction, economic level of different effects on the logistics industry. On the basisof previous studies, using the input-output table, it further reveals the status oflogistics industry in Shanghai, to study the effects of the three major industries of thedevelopment on the logistics industry. Through the study of logistics industry inShanghai and correlation effect and industry,it find out the development direction ofthe logistics industry, and provide the empirical basis for the development of thelogistics industry.This article puts forward the logistics industry to the modern intelligentdevelopment. Government should not only strengthen the construction of logisticsinfrastructure, but also improve the cooperation between each department and reducepolicy barriers. In the end, the logistics personnel professional quality should be enhanced to increase the competitiveness in Shanghai area.
