Due to the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, urban construction land expands increasingly while the area of farmland shrinks substantially, posing a serious threat to the food security of our country. Meanwhile the urban construction land is composed of an significant sector, the industrial land, which is critical to the regional and urban development if reasonably planned. For a long time, low remising price and extensive usage of the industrial land have seriously affected the healthy development of China’s land market. Therefore, it is of great significance to reduce extensive utilization of the industrial land, strengthen its management and promote its market-oriented mechanism, so as to boost the sustainable development of urban areas.In this thesis, the definition of the industrial land and its related theories are introduced in the first place. Then, it specifies current issues in the granting of industrial land in Yangzhong City based on analysis of its utilization, granting price and its influence mechanism, as well as the granting situation of industrial land between Yangzhong City and other regions at home and abroad. Meanwhile, this thesis probes into reasons that lead to the low granting price of industrial land and comes up with solutions at the national and municipal levels. Then comes up with specific methods, the industrial investment growth and the intensive utilization of industrial land, to figure out the demand for industrial land. Besides,"the ratio between residential lands and industrial ones" is brought in to calculate granting price of the industrial land.Finally, this thesis puts forward the following conclusions:1.Unreasonably low granting prices, extensive utilization and excessive proportion of industrial land against the construction one haunt the current remising of industrial land in Yangzhong City.2.Supply of industrial lands in Yangzhong City,2013should not surpass the red line of47hectares.3.Under the market-oriented mechanism, granting prices of industrial lands in Yangzhong’s downtown, development areas, Xinba Township, Baqiao Township and Xilaiqiao Township are1357yuan/sq.m.,795yuan/sq.m.,640yuan/sq.m.,432yuan/sq.m.,393yuan/sq.m., and373yuan/sq.m. respectively.
