In face of highly competitive, variable and uncertain market environment, together with the interdependence of departments and tasks constantly improved, how to contribute to the improvement of team’s innovation performance has been a concern. In terms of team innovative research, the current academic perspectives focus on leadership behavior, team atmosphere, knowledge management, team members heterogeneity, cognitive models and so on. This article will adopt the perspective of team members’ voice behavior on team performance, getting rid of the current focus of research on antecedents of voice behavior. Specifically, voice behavior has two dimensions, namely promotive voice behavior and prohibitive voice behavior, also team innovation performance includes effectiveness and efficiency of team innovation. The research units are Intra Regional functional work teams, asking one of senior and experienced team members who are well-known of the team situation. The article uses multiple regression analysis method to verify the relationship between voice behavior of team members and team innovation performance, then joining supportive leadership as moderator variable; through empirical validation, the article analyses how team members’voice matching the supportive leadership work on the innovation performance of the teams.By using SPSS19.0for statistical analysis of data, including descriptive statistics, factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis, the article comes to the following conclusions:promotive voice has positive impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of team innovation, prohibitive voice also has positive impact on the efficiency of team innovation; the supportive leadership plays as a moderator variable between employees’voice behavior and team innovation performance, it has a significantly positive effect on the relationship between team members’voice and team innovation performance, the positive relationship between team members’voice and team innovation performance will be strengthened.The research studies the relationship between voice behavior and team innovation performance, and joins the supportive leadership style as moderator variable—an important factor to affect team member behavior and team innovation performance. It expands the perspective of employees’ voice behavior and team innovation performance, opens the black box of the relationship and mechanism between employee voice behavior and team innovation performance, also highlights the context of team research. The subdivision research provides feasible proposals for how to deal with team members voice behavior, team innovation performance management and team leadership style contingency management.
