A Study On Influence Of Relationship And Information Sharing On Supply Chain Performance

The supply chain management practices show that outsourcing is one of the important way which improve the core competitiveness of enterprise. In the OEM mode of manufacturing outsourcing, the core company and the OEM manufacturer collaborate in the business flow, demanding and planning, manufacturing management as well as quality controlling, etc. They need to involve into the business operation of each other so that more deeply and more widely information sharing should be required, which indicates that it exits a strong relationship between information sharing and the supply chain performance. Therefore, the research of how the supply chain collaboration relationship and information sharing influence the performance has important significance in both supply chain theories and practices.The model has been established that the impact of collaboration relationship and information sharing between the core enterprice and OEM manufacturer on supply chain performance according to the characteristic of electronic manufacturing industry. In this model, collaboration relationship is measured by trust, commitment, interdependence and co-corporation, while information sharing is evaluated by information content, hierarchy range and quality. Based on SCOR model, supply chain performance is measured by reliability, flexibility and asset utilization.In order to validate the theoretic model,the SPSS and AMOS statistical software have been put to use to analyze and test the data collected from171supply chains in the manufacturing outsourcing by questionary method.The research of this paper show results as follows.Firstly,there is positive influnce of supply chain collaboration relationship on information sharing. Secondly,the information sharing has a positive effect on supply chain performance in which the information content and quality take an very important role. Thirdly,the supply chain collaboration relationship has a direct positive effect on performance. Lastly, the different product features have significant adjustment effect on the influence of performance supply chain relationship and information sharing.
