With sustained and steady Chinese economic growth, and gradually improve the level ofconsumption, the information technology industry has become a pillar industry of China’seconomic development. The Microsoft Company enters the Chinese market from1995, and ithas the stable growth in both the company scope and business in every year. The Microsoftproducts growth from a dozen to hundreds of now, and the product scope has been extendedto the client, the server platform, information tool, business solutions, mobile applicationsystem and embedded equipment, and household consumption and entertainment. As theworld’s largest software company, Microsoft Corp is the leading company of new technologychanging. In the highly competitive IT market, Microsoft China in the performance ofexpansion has also led to the expansion of the scale of the reseller, and the reseller trainingdemand become the focus of concern for a company. From the brand knowledge to productcategories, the skills of selling to the successful solutions are achieved through new efficientpartner training. In addition, it is very critical that the training model we choose will impactthe result delivery and effect. The rapid expansion of Microsoft China’s demand for traininghas far exceeded the current implementation of the training model, and it is necessary to findout a new partner training model.With the reference of amount of documents and information from human resourcesmanagement, enterprise culture, talent development theory, the training model of MicrosoftChina as the research object, on the basis of the relevant analysis results and invest inMicrosoft company, it was found that the important relationship on the partner trainingbetween the Microsoft company and resellers. Compare the training model to othercompanies in the software industry, and we get the result on the partner training status andproblems. And according to the research result with the method of questionnaire, contrastanalysis, interpretation and conclusion etc. we used a number of data and chart to improvethat is necessary to put forward a new partner training model of Microsoft China. Finally,through a detailed analysis of the results, we combined the advanced methodology andmanagement idea inland and abroad and with the dedicated consideration of thecharacteristics of Microsoft partner training in China which enable us to find new trainingmodel which fits our China market, that is the new training model which combine the Classroom training with on-line training platform. The research draws the following three conclusions:(1) the traditional partner trainingmodel can not satisfy the training needs after Microsoft expansion in the Chinese market.(2)The electronic training will be another development trend in software industry.(3) Flexibletraining method can fulfill the partner’s growth and also drive the business growth.
