With the process of globalization of the hospitality industry, it becomes a wisest wayfor hotel industry to develop collectivization. Because of the hotel manager can having theright to run the hotel while does not participating in the investment, which is helpful tocontrolling the brand quality and operating direction and forecasting management fee andother incomes. All of thesemake the hotel groups management copiedtheirexperiencetomore hotels at a lower cost and risk, thereby get rapid expansion. Therefore,collectivization gets favor by more and more domestic hotel groups, especially thehigh starhotel groups. However, there is a large-scale demand for senior manager with the hotelrapid growth. Andat the same time, the hotel industry as one of the most special industries,its top managers, in addition to familiar with the market dynamics, to grasp thedevelopment trend, establish market orientation, they also need to proficient in businessand management, meanwhile,have high language ability, communication ability, culturalquality, and familiar with the operation of domestic hotel industry mode, etc. As mentionedto the manage contract hotel’s general manager, in addition to the above skills, they alsoneed to have high consciousness of cost, performance oriented, and strong flexibility.Traditional talent selection method in hotel industry, however, can’tdistinguish thepotential qualities effectively, thus the validity ofselection is very low, and it can’t satisfythe requirement of hotel management. Therefore, how to select managementcontracthigh-levelhotel managerefficiently has a strong theoretical significance andpractical significance.This paper through “TextAnalysis” to analyzethe domestic hotel general manager filesand related standards, including tourism industry "twelfth five-year" talent developmentplan, China professional managers qualification criteria, the international hotel associationability of the hotel professional manager certification requirements, as well as the domestichotel general manager responsibility and domestic related literatures and comparison,finally summed up the competency dictionary of management contract hotel generalmanager. And through the way of BEI, further build benchmarking hotel general managercompetency model, on this basis, combined with assessment center technologyput forwardadvices on the development and implementation for group belonged entrusted managementhotel general manager, and seta case study of XX tourism group’ AC text. This paperconsist of the following seven parts:Part1. Introduction.Expoundresearch background, significance and research technique route.Part2. Literaturereview.Reviewed and summarized the related research ofcompetencies, assessment center, hotel groups and top managers.Part3. The group subordinate high star hotel general manager competency modelbuilding design.Adopt the method of text analysis to extract keywords and filtered,comparative, inductive and summed up the competency dictionary of the general manager.Part4. Construct general manager competency model.Through BEI research and dataanalysis, summed up "benchmarking"general manager’competency model.Part5.combining "benchmarking"general manager’ competency model with the ACtechnology to put forward advices on the development and implementation for theselection of entrusted management hotel general managersand set a case study of XXtourism group’ AC text.Part6. Conclusion and outlook. Summarize the main conclusions of research paper,the problems and the insufficiency, and puts forward problems which needed to be studiedin thefurther future.
