Competency model is one of the hot topics in the field of human resource management,which can effectively distinguish the individual characteristics of the high performance people in the specific job or organizational environment.To a large extent,the application of competency model in recruitment which can be used largely to help enterprises improve the quality of recruitment,cost saving,reduce staff turnover rate,improve the operational efficiency of the enterprise so as to improve enterprise benefits.As one of the most important positions in hotel industry,branch general manager is relatively primitive and backward in terms of the concept of recruitment,the use of tools,and the evaluation standard of interview screening.In this paper,by means of the relevant theoretical research on competency model,through the experts group meeting to discuss the combination of excellent performance and ordinary people's interview,the author extracted 30 items of competency characteristics,afterwards the reliability and validity of these items were tested,thus the 27 elements of competency were extracted.Finally,through the discussion of the experts group and the human resources department,the 20 elements of the competency are extracted and chosen as the competency model of the brach general manager.Based on the construction of the competency mode for branch general manager,this paper analyzes the enterprise strategy,cultural background and the current recruitment status of Vienna Chian Hotels,after that the recruitment system based on competency model is constructed.The author tries to optimize the design of recruitment system based on competency model to enable W company's recruitment system more scientific,rigorous and perfect.Therefore,the construction of competency model are supposed to improve the quality of talents recruiting efficaciously.Only if recruitment management more detailed,objective,scientific and forward-looking can support the company to achieve strategic objectives.
