The Competence Research Of Four Star Hotel's Internal Trainer Taking WH Hotel For Example

In the era of knowledge-driven economy,the competition of companies is the competition of talents.Prior to the "internal trainer",most companies took the staff training by employing the external lecturers from training agency.For a long time,the external lecturers and their standardization course have played an very important role in company's training system building.However,with the process of the times,this training method has become increasingly unable to meet the personalized demand.So a new kind of trainer comes out,which is called the "internal trainer".Nowadays,many foreign multinational corporations already have a complete management system for internal trainers.But in domestic companies,the internal trainers are still lack of competence,which is reflected in training skill,responsibility,self-improvement,etc.On the problem of how to improve the competence,the domestic and foreign scholars both have their research on different professions,also including the internal trainer.Though they summarize the general competency model of the internal trainer,there will still be some differences between industries and positions,the general model can't be provided as a standard accurately.The research takes WH hotel for example.First,construct the initial competency model for four star hotel's internal trainer by the method of literature analysis,behavioral event interview and questionnaire analysis,then test the model's validity and reliability by SPSS and AMOS software's factor analysis and put forward the formal competency model,which contains seven dimensions with 26 competencies.Finally,this competency model will be used for internal trainer's selection,training,evaluation and motivation,which is included in determining standards and establishing two internal trainer teams.Hope that through this series of implementation,there will be a great help to improve the hotel's internal training system.
