The citrus industry development in Peng’an county has obvious advantages. It has the favorableconditions with excellent natural resources, convenient transportation, long history of cultivation,mature cultivation techniques, The basic production technology, obvious advantage of brand.2. The development of citrus industry in Pengan County is also facing many difficulties.Orchardinfrastructure is backward, the variety structure is irrational, extensive cultivation, fruit lowcommercialization, citrus processing material supply and demand contradiction, small scale andscattered, lack of rural labor force, the technical service system is not perfect and so on.3. Pengan County citrus industry is facing good opportunities for development. It has a hugepotential for development, the broad market prospect, the attention at all levels of government and otheropportunities.4. Peng’an citrus industry is facing threat of the development.
