Study On Citrus Industry In Deqing

In recent years,the citrus industry in Deqing has developed rapidly.The total value of citrus industry accounts for about half of the total agricultural production in Deqing County.It is the most important part of the economic development of Deqing County.As one of the most advantageous and competitive industries in the county,Deqing citrus industry promotes the sustainable development of rural economy,solves the employment problem of labor force in Deqing County,increases farmers' income,and promotes the coordinated development of related industries,which provides a strong guarantee for solving the local "three rural issues".Based on SWOT analysis framework,Deqing citrus industry has obvious advantages.It has superior natural resources and location advantages,more than 1300 years of planting experience,abundant local labor supply,and farmers have a high enthusiasm for citrus planting.Through years of development,citrus industrialization has been greatly improved.But at the same time,there are still many problems in Deqing citrus industry,including imperfect industrial management,low agricultural technology and poor marketing channels.While facing the development opportunities of policy support and regional economic integration,Deqing is also facing challenges from capital and market competition.After SWOT analysis,using SO strategy,ST strategy,WO strategy and WT strategy,the Countermeasures of Deqing citrus industry development are put forward to promote its sustainable development.In the aspect of SO strategy,using the good foundation of Deqing citrus,integrating into the integration process of Guangdong,Hong Kong,Macao and the Great Bay Area,intensifying scientific and technological cooperation,establishing Citrus Research Institute to carry out citrus project research and technical tackling.By means of relevant policy support,we can improve the construction of financial mechanism.In terms of WO strategy,the government should strengthen vocational training for fruit farmers,improve their quality and establish a new type of professional peasants team.Make full use of mobile phone software to provide farmers with as much information about science and technology as possible;strengthen soil testing and scientific formula of citrus,establish relevant mechanisms to improve the level of citrus planting;strengthen the reuse of citrus varieties resources,promote industrialization management model.In terms of ST strategy,the government should guide finance to provide support for the development of citrus industry in various ways,increase the "hematopoietic" function of rural credit cooperatives,vigorously support rural youth innovation and entrepreneurship by relaxing financial policies,improve product reputation through brand effect,establish a stable marketing network,seize opportunities and open up marketing network.In terms of WT strategy,the government should innovate in service,establish citrus germplasm resources protection center,speed up the cultivation of citrus production and operation subjects and promote industrialization management mode,seek cooperation platform,open up marketing market,obtain financial support from financial market,solve the problem of agricultural product funds,and develop citrus industry.In this paper,SWOT analysis method is used to analyze the strengths and weaknesses,opportunities and challenges faced by Deqing citrus industry.In view of the current situation,weaknesses and threats of Deqing citrus industry,strategies to promote the development of Deqing citrus industry are put forward in order to provide a basis for industrial development.
