Research On Chinese Rural Social Pension Insurance For Landless Peasants

As China’s economic and social development, rural society has undergone tremendouschange. The increasingly deepening urbanization leads to the decreasing of family scale. Atthe same time, the two traditional security ways: land security and family security have failedto satisfy the rural residents’ demand.. Urbanization is an important process, which China’seconomic restructuring must go through. On the one hand, urbanization has brought leaps andbounds in the economic benefits for us. On the other hand, the continuous progress ofurbanization has also brought a series of new problems to our economic development, whichshould not be ignored by us. Of all the problems, the most urgent one to solve is the pensionof landless farmers.This paper, on the basis of a number of theoretical researches, introduces the relatedtheories of rural society pension policy. At the same time, it analyzes the poor livingconditions of landless farmers by analyzing the current operation of rural resident pensionpolicy, and then it point out a serious of problems of landless farmer pension policy. It alsopoints out the best way of solving the problems of support the old in rural area in order to putforward a new model of landless farmer pension policy that suits China’s actual conditions.
