An Experimental Research On The Effects Of Proactive Personality, Emotions, Risk Situation On Risk Decisions

Purpose：This study is based on prospect theory point of view, by e-prime technology,experimental paradigm, by simulating reality game, set the experimental task,proactive personality and emotional aspects into which to explore both in differentrisk scenarios for decision-making styleand decision-making results.Methods:This study was152University undergraduate, to ensure its proper completion ofthe computer experiment, the final data are statistically valid sample of96. ProactivePersonality Scale, emotional self-rating scale (PANAS) Chinese and E-Prime riskdecision-making task to collect data.2(pride, fear)×2(typical proactive personality,atypical proactive personality)×2(low risk scenario, a high level) between-subjectsdesign.Results：1. Different personality types initiative in decision-making style, there wassignificant difference between the experimental and risk situations of all the emotionsare present under conditions typical of proactive personality types tend to seek risk ofatypical proactive personality types tend to risk aversion.2. Risk situations and emotions and proactive personality type will affect theaccuracy of the subjects’ decision-making in different emotional nature (pride, fear)were tested under typical group decision making correct group was significantlyhigher than the atypical subjects, proud group of typical proactive Personality correctdecisions were significantly high.3. Proactive personality type and risk scenario for making a significantinteraction between time, low-risk situations, typical proactive personality were testeddecision time was significantly less than atypical proactive personality were tested;atypical proactive personality, a low-risk situations decision time was significantlylower than high-risk situations decision time. Conclusions:1. Proactive Personality types can be formed in risk decision-making tendency ofdecision-making style, typical group was biased in favor of the risk to seek theatypical group were more biased in favor of risk aversion.2. Risk scenario under stable conditions, proactive personality types were testedright decision will affect the rate of a typical group of subjects making correct ratehigher, and emotions were tested simultaneously proud correct rate will be higher.Unstable conditions in the risk scenario, proactive personality types influence thedecision-making accuracy in high-risk situations task is even more evident.3. Proactive Personality and risk scenario will influence decision-making time.Low risk, the different types of decision time proactive personality vary, typicallymaking proactive personality test time is less than normal; atypical group of subjectsmore susceptible to influence risk scenario, low-risk contexts decision time isexcessive.
