Study On Local GDP Contribution By Tourism Development In National Regions

Fenghuang County of Hunan province is a minority area, rich in tourismresources, is one of China’s most important tourism destination. Since the developmentof Western China, Fenghuang County tourism industry scale is also growing, tourismincome has increased year by year, the total income of tourism in2011is5.7times in2001, at the same time, phoenix county economy has obtained the rapid development,GDP in2011was3.5times that of2001, Scientific evaluation of Fenghuang CountyTourism’s contribution to GDP, reasonable orientation of tourism industrial status andfunction, can be developed for scientific and rational development of tourism resources,theory, and policy basis of tourism development policies, at the same time conducive topromote national sustainable development of regional economy, this article is based onthis, of Fenghuang County tourism development and the relationship between GDPgrowth and impact analysis.First of all, using tourism economics, national economics, theory of Westerneconomics, regional economics, definitions of both the qualitative and quantitativeanalysis, including tourism resources and tourism development in Phoenix, PhoenixCounty GDP development status.Second, using Granger causality test on the tourism development and conducted apreliminary analysis of relationship between GDP growth came to Granger cause oftourism development is GDP growth.
