Study On Tourism’s Economic Growth Contribution To The Ethnic Areas

In recent years, China’s economic development is very rapid. Our economy is growing, people’s living standards are gradually moving from subsistence to moderate prosperity. However, economic development between the geographical imbalance problem persists. Especially the slow development of ethnic minorities inhabit, urban and rural construction is lagging behind the level and other issues,the problem becomes one of the important problems of national economic growth. Jianghua Yao Autonomous County of Hunan Province as a place inhabited by the Yao people,the geographical position is remote, rich for natural resources,particularly forest resources, and there is abundant national culture and resource, especially many historical relics and famous monuments. In recent years, as people’s living standards improve,the demand for travel continues to expand. Jianghua Yao Autonomous County of Hunan Province as a tourist attraction,has been growing concern. Local government structured and developed the local resources, more and more people engaged in the tourism industry, expanding tourism, rising incomes. Jianghua Yao Autonomous County of Hunan Province to develop tourism in the local economy as a whole makes the upgrade.This article takes the contribution of tourism of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County of Hunan Province as the breakthrough point to research the contribution of tourism to national economic growth. It has five parts, and the first chapter mainly includes the background and significance of the research, literature review, research methods and so on. The second chapter mainly overviews Jianghua Yao Autonomous County’s tourism resources and analyzes the tourism development status. In the third chapter, it compares the data of the tourist income in the proportion of the local GDP, tourism income and the third industry and the relationship between the local GDP from 2007 to 2013 to analysis and prove the pull relationship, and analyzes its influencing factors and give some suggestions. The fourth chapter, basis on of the empirical research of the contribution of tourism of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County, propose some rational thoughts about the development of the tourism of the whole ethnic areas. The last part is the conclusion and prospect. This thesis aims to deeply analyze and research the tourism’s contribution to the regional economic growth in Jianghua Yao Autonomous County, and provides reference and guidance for the development of China’s ethnic minority areas in the future.
