Construction of socialist market economy is in transition, and a complete set oflegal norms, moral system has not been fully established, but with the constantdevelopment of tourist hotel industry emerged in the process of a series of problems,so enterprise not only focus on the economic development but also began to attachimportance to the construction and improvement of the social norms and ethics. At thesame time, the hotel practitioners treat the requirement of work have taken bigchanges, they think the value of the work is no longer a means of survival means, butpay more attention to material wealth. When the enterprise is unable to meet the staff’sspiritual requirements, this will led to employee turnover behavior. Present situation,the high turnover rate has been seriously affect the hotel’s strategic management.Therefore, based on the enterprise ethics, analyzing the influence factors of employeeretention research and putting forward the countermeasures and reducing the staffturnover has certain theoretical and practical significance.This paper based on corporate ethics and tourism management, take theinvestigation on managers and employees who left in Changsha star hotels, and usethe grounded theory method to analyze the survey data. In this paper, the first partdiscusses China’s hotel industry faces opportunities and challenges in thedevelopment process, significance, technical route and research methods, andsummarized the domestic and foreign research on employee retention and theenterprise ethics. Second most major is about the theoretical basis in this paper,including the humanistic management theory, learning organization theory and thetheory unifying them. The third part is mainly on the basis of previous studies,through the empirical study and then write report. The fourth part is according to thethird part which concludes the specific reason for the proposed countermeasures. Thelast part is summary and outlook of this paper. Although thoroughly solve the problemof excessive loss of staffs is facing many difficulties, but the enterprises andindividuals from different angles try more, accumulate experience both at home andabroad, and staff turnover problem is certain to be a good solution.By the investigation and study showed that employee turnover of Chang Sha,starhotel, there are mainly by social environment factors, enterprise management,enterprise culture and values, employee relations and the influence of unfair issues inthe work. Concrete countermeasures includ optimizing social ethics environment andstrengthening the enterprise ethics management, building people-oriented hotel ethicculture, correctly dealing with employee relations, eliminating injustice, etc which canreflect enterprise ethics behavior.
