With the development of modern manufacturing technology and enterprise competitionbetween different forms, making manufacturing enterprises face more severe challenges forsurvival and development. Under such situation, optimize plant logistics system, reducelogistics costs, and thus enhance core competitiveness of enterprises, becoming an importantway for manufacturing companies to meet new challenges and to achieve favorable positionin the market competition. This thesis selects company G as an object to analyze G plant current logistics systemstatus, to uncover the overdue delivery issues in G plant logistics system with the utilizationof statistics and surveys methods. It uses methods, such as brainstorming and fish boneanalysis, to unveil the actual reasons for delayed delivery, which including dis-unifiedpackages, unreasonable spare parts stocking in warehouse, irrational parts storage at line side, inappropriate delivery facilities, redundant process and ineffective information transmission. This article shows improvement and countermeasures for dis-unified packages throughunifying packaging modulus and standardizing packaging to define process. Followed bysupermarket setting, positioning management, visual management approach to makeimprovement for parts storage at warehouse and line side, and then utilize facilities analysismethod to select appropriate delivery tools. At last streamline working process according toECRSI principle, furthermore, set up Kanban delivery system according to pull principle inlean production to solve the redundant process and ineffective information transfer. This article provide an example for plant logistics system analysis and optimization torelated manufacturing enterprises, also offer a reference for plant logistics system analysis andoptimization to similar companies, and provide a kind of solution and ideas to enterprises toimprove their internal logistics management.
