E-commerce is an inevitable developing trend in the21st century. Internet-based e-commerce is a new business mode which has induced a revolutionary change of production mode on the global scale. Moreover, it offers a good opportunity to enhance the national competitiveness of China in the21st century.The e-commerce market of China is extremely large. Based on the statistics data from the National Bureau of Statistics, the number of Internet users reached560million, and the Internet penetration rate is up to42%in China by2012. At the same time, the rapid development of the internet infrastructure and the household broadband penetration has also forced the flourish of internet e-commerce.B2C e-commerce has grown up in China since the1990s, however, due to the generation of the Internet bubble, the immature Internet environment and many other reasons, B2C e-commerce once fell into a downturn. Since then, the C2C e-commerce developed rapidly. Benefitting from the flexible development way, C2C e-commerce developed rapidly and it promoted the maturity of internet integrity environment. Then B2C regain the favor of internet users relying on the better brand effect, the better produce protection and better service, compared with B2C e-commerce in foreign countries, E-commerce develops relatively slowly in China.Behind the rapid development of B2C, there are a lot of risks in its operational processes. In order to increase the competitiveness of B2C enterprises, it’s really necessary to explore the possible risks existing in the research process and corresponding control method.We analyze the contents of the B2C e-commerce businesses and possible risks in operating process, including:human resources and internal management processes risk, product sourcing and marketing of process risk, ordering-payment risk, logistics and distribution risk and information security risk. Moreover, we identify the analysis method and come up with solutions to the risk assessment in the operation process based on SWOT analysis.Finally, take Company C as an example, we make risk evaluation of the key factors, and then throws out some suggestions according to the evaluation results.
