Small and medium-sized science and technologyenterprises despite the social responsibility, environmental pollution, tax evasion, arrearsof wages, neglect of safety, entrap customer exists.With the deepening of reform and opening up, the continuous improvement anddevelopment of the market economy, the knowledge economy wave swept, Thehigh-tech industry as a pillar industry of the knowledge-based economy receiveunprecedented attention. Meanwhile, SME market as an important part of the high-techindustries, get more and more attention from all kinds of people. Fulfill a certain degreeof social responsibility will increase the cost of the enterprise, as the strength of the SMEitself and also faced with the task of enterprise scale, the short-term negative effectsreduced the enthusiasm of SME for corporate social responsibility, so in the process ofgrowth of SME will appear the problem of lacking of social responsibility more or less.In fact, Whether fulfill their social responsibilities will affect the growth performance ofSME, has been a topic of study at home and abroad, and also have no unified conclusionso far. This paper based on the high-tech enterprises in the SME, To verify whether socialresponsibility impact on growth, If it does, promote or suppress?This paper reviews the predecessors on the basis of the research of corporate socialresponsibility and growth, Combining the stakeholder theory and the theory of marketchoice, discuss the mechanism of social responsibility affect growth, as well as corporatesocial responsibility intrinsic motivation, and made preparations for the followingempirical design. In the empirical side, evaluation of corporate social responsibility by tothe government, employees, investors and community responsibility, In addition thispaper base on the characteristics of high-tech small and medium-sized enterprises, from the ability of profitability, solvency, operation, expanding, meantime added the researchand innovation capacity to the evaluation of the growth, indicators related empiricalvalidation. The final results show that Small and medium-sized science and technologyenterprises commitments the responsibility of the government, employees and investorscan significantly promote the growth of enterprises. However, due to some of the SMEthemselves, commitments the responsibility of community has no obvious promote effectto the growth, empirical research achieve the desired effect,Provide some referencevalue for the study of social responsibility and growth.
