Study On Investment Risk Of Bonded Logistics Center Of Nantong Port

Since the reform an opening up, ports in China have been developingrapidly with the development of international trade. As an important partof the economy of the coastal city, port economy has been considered asthe main driving force to drive urban development by the government. And,port logistics has become one of the pillar industries of the coastal city.Bonded logistics is a significant sign of modern port, and it is one ofthe carrier to undertake the bonded logistics business, so bondedlogistics center plays an important role in promoting the development ofthe port. Construction of bonded logistics center has the characteristicsof high investment cost and long payback period. Furthermore, it isinfluenced by both the international and domestic environment, so theuncertainty of the investment risk is larger. The investment riskevaluation is an important research direction in the planning stage ofbonded logistics center.This paper takes the investment risk of bonded logistics center ofNantong as the research object. Firstly, this paper presents acomprehensive analysis of the construction and development environmentof the bonded logistics center of Nantong from four aspects, includingstatus and trends of the development of port logistics and bondedlogistics, comparison of Nantong port and neighboring ports developmentconditions, conditions of the location of bonded logistics center ofNantong port, and the scale of the bonded logistics center. Combined withthe characteristics of bonded logistics center, this paper constructs theinvestment risk evaluation index system based on the factors thatinfluence investment risk of bonded logistics center. Secondly, according to the principles of Bayesian Network qualitative modeling andquantitative modeling to build the investment risk evaluation model ofbonded logistics center of Nantong, and to measure the investment risk.Thirdly, on the basis of investment risk measurement results, this paperputs forward some effective prevention and response measures to reducethe investment risk, especially the bigger risk source such as competitionrisk and service risk. Finally, conclusions and shortages is pointed out.And this paper also proposes future research directions.The innovation of this paper is reflected mainly in two aspects. Oneis that it constructs the investment risk evaluation index system ofbonded logistics center based on its characteristics. Another is theestablishment of a model to measure investment risk of bonded logisticscenter according to the principles of Bayesian Network.Study on investment risk of bonded logistics center of Nantong port,there is a direct guiding significance on the investment decision-makingof Nantong port on one hand. On the other hand, establishment of investmentrisk evaluation index system and evaluation model of bonded logisticscenter improves the relevant theoretical research of the bonded logisticscenter.
