The Research Of County Economy Leading Industry Selection And Development

County economy is an important foundation of our national economy, which hasa significance status and role in economic and social development in our country. Inorder to build well-off society in an all-around way, we must pay attention to thedevelopment of county economy.The function of leading industry for county economydevelopment is vitally important. Choosing the right leading industries anddeveloping prospect, backward-looking, and the side effects of the leading industry topromote the development of other industries, which will optimize the county’sindustrial structure, will be benefit for healthy and fast development of the county.This paper used industry economics, regional economics,developmenteconomics and some other related theories for reference, regarded leading industry ofcounty economy of our country as the main research object,combined with theexisting research results of domestic and overseas and the actual situation in countyeconomy development of our country, and took Zhangshu City in Jiangxi province forexample, to carry on a theoretical and empirical research.To begin with, the paper summarized relevant research achievements of countyeconomy at home and abroad and the leading industry selection, and had a briefanalysis and evaluation in these researches. Besides, it also introduced the relatedtheory in the leading industry selection of county economy.Secondly, the paper established the main basis and principle,and analyzed theinfluencing factors of the leading industry selection of county economy. At the sametime,it listed some current benchmarks of the leading industry selection,which isanalyzed and pointed out that these benchmarks were not the sole criterion forselection. The selection will be affected by some other factors in reality.Thirdly, the paper took Zhangshu City in Jiangxi province for example, appliedthe selection methods of the leading industry of county economy for municipalresearch in Zhangshu City,and analyzed natural economic and social developmentsituation, and the internal and external conditions of industrial development inZhangshu City. Meanwhile, it combined with the collected data and the selectionmodel to select the leading industry of the city, proved the feasibility of the model.Then,the paper ultimately determined four kinds of leading industries in thedevelopment of county economy in Zhangshu City based on the qualitative andquantitative analysis. Finally,under the guidance of relevant theories, related the four kinds of leadingindustries in Zhangshu City, the paper analyzed the present situation in each leadingindustry development and existing problems. Aimed at these problems, it put forwardthe corresponding solutions and suggestions on the development of each leadingindustry, in order to provides some reference for the future industry development aswell as the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure in Zhangshu City.
