Study On Factors Influencing The Quality Of Statistical Data Of DZ City

Data quality is the lifeline of statistical work. Thus the ultimate goal for statistical reformshould be an improvement in the quality of statistics data. Currently, quality of statistical datasubject to doubts and challenges for various reasons. Factors that inlfuence the quality ofstatistical data raise high attentions of government of all levels. In-depth research on thesefactors has been carried on.Based on the factors that affect the quality of statistical data of DZ city, the thesis engagedin the following works: ifrst, expounds the factors inlfuencing the quality of statistical data athome and abroad, classiifes the government statistical system, for the different systems leadsto different influencing factors. A preliminary research is made on the non-technical factorsthat affects the quality of statistical data. Second，a in-depth inquiry and analysis is carried onfrom the aspects of establishment of statistical institution in DZ and its limitation, thepersonnel engaged in statistics and its defects, lfaw in the statistical systems, and the statusquo of statistical law enforcement. Third，a quantization and classiifcation is made on factorsthat influence government statistical data quality based on the analysis of the former towchapters. Explained variables and explaining variables are determined. A model of factorsaffecting government statistical data quality is built. Based on the statistical model，aquestionnaire is designed to cluster and quantity factors speciifcally. Empirical research on theinfluencing factors of the government statistical data quality in DZ leads to conclusion thatthe factors affecting accuracy of statistics are following(according to the importance):statistical data at the basic level, peopleware, systems working environment and oiffcials,assessment mechanism.
