Under the background that China acceded to the WTO and economic globalization, many construction companies have developed business over, and our construction enterprise will face fierce competition in the international market. This article begins with the construction supplier performance management, guides the supplier performance management applied with supply chain, whose main purpose is to achieve building mutually beneficial and win-win between companies and suppliers, and improve the building enterprise core competitiveness. It has application value to guide the construction enterprise to supplier performance evaluation and performance management.For the construction enterprises whose material costs are more than half of the total building products cost, it is an effective method to reduce the cost of building products for supplier performance management under the supply chain environment. This paper mainly uses the balanced scorecard, analytic hierarchy process and the extenics method to study the supplier performance management. First summarize the concept and characteristics of construction supply chain, introduce the theories and methods of supplier performance management; Secondly, set the basic information database of the building materials supplier, providing the basis for the performance evaluation of suppliers, and set up the index system for China’s building material supplier performance evaluation and confirm the weight of each index based on the Balanced Scorecard Principle; Then analyze the application scope, advantages and disadvantages of Several commonly used evaluation method, and set up the supplier performance evaluation model based on extenics and supplier incentive mechanism; Finally use the extenics to evaluate the suppliers’ performance in the actual project cases, and discuss how to motivate the supplier through selecting different performance evaluation results, the in order to improve the enthusiasm of supplier. This paper researches from four aspects:setting provider basic information database, establishing performance evaluation system, constructing performance evaluation model, encouraging suppliers, sets up the supplier performance management system to achieve a win-win situation between construction companies and suppliers, enhance the core competitiveness of construction enterprises in China, improve its international competitive advantage.Supplier basic information database and supplier incentive mechanism deals with many problems and influencing factors, this article only study some basic issues. Because time is limited, deeper research will be the next research focus.
