The Farmers’ Income Influence Factors Analysis In Gansu Province

As everyone knows, increasing farmers’ income is the core issue of three ruralproblems. The thirty years of reform and opening up, China implemented the correctpolicies in rural areas, which make the agriculture developed, agriculture productiongenerally increased, farmers’ living standard greatly improved. With the "working"wave arrival, farmers are no longer satisfied with the income of a piece of land.Instead, they are tend to the higher income of non-agricultural industries, whichshowing the diversification of income. In fact, the diversification in farmers’ incomehas not only rapidly promoted the development of the regional economy, but alsoeffectively reduced the income gap between urban and rural areas. It has moreresearch value in the western cities. Gansu province is located in the west. With thenatural conditions, the farmers’ income is lower than other developed agriculturalprovinces. How to increase the income of local farmers and promote the rapiddevelopment of the economy of the province. It becomes an urgent problem to besolved. Therefore, study on the influence factors of farmers’ income has importanttheoretical and practical significance.Firstly, this paper summarizes the related theories and specific research resultsof farmers’ income at home and abroad, based on the research perspective, methodand progress of carding, mastered the basic situation of the research. Secondly,based on the conclusions from the mode of operation of rural production, the incomeof farmers in Gansu province is divided into four parts: agricultural income,non-agricultural income, work income and other. Next, combining theory and practice,10sample villages’ data to research group at the end of2010survey was selected ascase study. We investigated current situation of farmers’ income in Gansu Province,analyzed the characteristics of the income of farmers in Gansu Province. It combinesempirical and descriptive to analyses the influencing factors of farmers’ income,discusses the experience of improving the farmers’ income in Gansu province and thedifficulties facing. Finally, the paper discusses the problems of farmers’ income,analyzes the causes of these disadvantages and its consequences. Then somecountermeasures and suggestions are put forward which related to these problems.In general, this article studies the main factors of farmers’ income mainly fromthe management angle of rural production. By working income, agricultural income, non-agricultural income, other income research, it discusses the influence of changesin the income of the farmers, summed up the low work income and agriculturalincome difficulties are the major causes of the low overall income of farmers. At thesame time, the specific factors are summarized. The conclusion is that the farmers’income affected by many factors. These factors are interrelated, influence each other.Only to encourage the rural labor mobility and improve the production efficiency canbe greatly promoted the income of the farmers. They play a vital role in the prosperityand development of the rural economy.
