| One of the important factors to urban economy growing rapidly and steadily is theindustrial structure is reasonable. In recent years, the economy of Yan’an is growing, but thechange of industrial structure is unconspicuous. As a small and medium-sized city in thenorthwest region, Yan’an is developing late, but it has many advantages in the economicdevelopment. In this article, we set up a mathematical model to optimize the industrialstructure and make the development sustainable and fast.Firstly, we analyse the industrial structure of Yan’an with the knowledge in regionaleconomics. Then we use the SAS software to analyse and get the top ten major industries inthe three industries. The top ten major indusries are: agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry,fishery, service, industry, construction industry, transportation storage and postal industry,wholesale and retail industry, tourist industry; Secondly, we use the knowledge of input andoutput to built a basic linear optimization model. The purpose of building the model isoptimizing the industrial structure. There are six constraints in this model, consist of energy,water, land, fixed fund, labor force and environmental pollution. Thirdly, because the basicmodel is imperfect in the actual condition, so we improve the model and get two new models.The two new models are named the year by year linear optimization and the periodism linearoptimization model. Finally, we take the data into these two models and analyse the result.We get the periodism linear optimization model is superior to the year by year linearoptimization, because it is more in line with the sustainable development to industrialstructure. At the meantime, we give advices to Yan’an: the government should increase thedevelopment to industry, wholesale and retail industry and tourist industry, and keep thedevelopment to agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery, service, construction industryand transportation storage and postal industry. |
