In the rapidly changing and competitive business environment, in order to adapt to theneeds of the future, enterprise should have adaptability and flexibility, thus can subtly seizenew opportunities; enterprise should also have competitive to meet the needs in short termand can utilize the past accumulated assets and capabilities to quickly create greater value.For surviving and developing,enterprise needs to constantly update itself.So,it not onlyrequires utilize existing capabilities effectively,but also carry out the exploration of newcapabilities at the same time. Ambidexterity refers to achieve the goal that make use of andexplore the two aspects ability in the same dexterity; it’s a new strategic choice for enterpriseto deal with environmental change. At present, lots of research are only based on theinfluence either exploration or exploitation to enterprise performance, However, there is fewresearch on the influence of the balance between exploration and exploitation to the enterpriseperformance, and basically are based on the influence factors of organization level.Thus, this paper summarized relevant research at home and abroad, from the topmanagement team behavior perspective, for the sample to small and medium enterprises(SME) to investigate the influence of SME executive team behavior integration toambidexterity and enterprise performance, and the influence of ambidexterity to enterpriseperformance. This study tested the following three hypothesis:(1)The level of behavioralintegration of TMTs in SMEs is positively associated the extent to which they pursue anambidextrous orientation;(2)The level of behavioral integration of TMTs in SMEs ispositively associated with enterprise performance;(3)The extent to which SMEs pursue anambidextrous orientation is positively associated with enterprise performance. The studymake the enterprise to realize that the real innovation which can make enterprise succeed isthe results of the achieved balance between exploration activities and exploitation activities inthe increasingly complicated and changeable environment, thus brings to the enterprisecontinuous performance.
