In today’s fast moving and increasingly competitive business environment, the ambidexterity is increasingly being seen as a new corporate strategic tool to respond to environmental change and improve their competitive advantage. More and more studies have shown the need for innovation in the dual. Compared with the single exploration or exploitation, to achieve the dual nature of innovative enterprises can adapt to the existing environment or potential environmental changes, with which have a stronger competitive advantages. Therefore, how to achieve the organization’s ambidexterity is a question worthy of further study. Organization’s ambidexterity are increasingly being discovered and studied. This paper attempts from inside the working process of the senior management team to explore business innovation dual factors, and integration on exploratory innovation and development of innovative organizations for further validate the behavior of the top management team.There are two research questions:(1) How top management team behavioral integration affect the combination and balance of exploration and exploitation?(2) if the environment uncertainty and CEO paternalistic leadership moderate?This paper gets the following conclusions:(1) TMT behavioral integration can directly influence the organization’s ambidexterity.(2) Both environment uncertainty and CEO’s paternalistic leadership moderate the relationship between TMT behavioral integration and combination of exploration and exploitation.The main contributions of this paper are:(1) The result of the paper’s model is TMT behavioral integration directly influences organization’s ambidexterity.(2) Using environment uncertainty and CEO’s paternalistic leadership as moderate variables, the paper tests that TMT Behavioral Integration and both of environment uncertainty and CEO’s paternalistic leadership have a positive or interaction on organizational ambidexterity. |
