With the economic development and urbanization process accelerated, many large andmedium-sized cities of China’s plaguing in environmental pollution problems which causedby the urban road congestion and emissions. This problem had an impact on the lives of urbanresidents, learn and work, restrict the city’s construction and economic development. Todevelop public transport have been proposed as a national strategy to solve this problem. Thefocus of public transport sent directly reflected the level of development of the city, and theirlevel of service to the general concern of the Federation. How to improve urban publictransport services, to meet the city ’s growing travel demand, improve the quality of urbanresidents travel to become an important research direction of the development of publictransport.On the basis of urban public transport services research background, purpose andsignificance, analysis of the research status of the level of public transport services at homeand abroad. From the perspective of economics, management and statistics science toestablish a index system to comprehensive evaluation of urban public transport services. Fromsix aspects conduct a comprehensive evaluation of urban public transport services that theconvenience, comfort, safety, timeliness, economy and punctuality. Through field visits inXi’an Public Transport Corporation and survey of residents draw of the index value and theindex weights. The use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the level oftransit service in Xi’an, drawing evaluation value to measure the level of service andoperations of public transport in Xi’an. Finding potential problems, combined with the actualdevelopment of public transport in Xi’an, put forward reasonable proposals.
