A Research On The Capability For Independent Innovation Of China’s Bio-pharmaceutical Industry

The high-tech industry is the pillar industry of China, and as a branch of thebio-industry, the bio-pharmaceutical industry is also in the high-tech industry. Asbio-industry is listed as one of the seven strategic emerging industries, bio-pharmaceuticalindustry has also ushered in the opportunities and challenges, and its ability ofindependent innovation is also rising. But there are some inadequacies in thebio-pharmaceutical industry and it’s imbalance in regional development. Therefore,conducting a comprehensive analysis of bio-pharmaceutical industry independentinnovation and putting forward tactics to enhance the capability of independent innovationstrategy is practically significant.Followed by a brief description of the ability of independent innovation, this articlefirst analysis the bio-pharmaceutical industry and its characteristics. Next it shows thepresent situation of China’s biopharmaceutical industry analysis and the ability ofindependent innovation, and then researches the factors of the independent innovationcapability of pharmaceutical industry.Based on the study of the factors which affect the capability of independentinnovation, this paper build a bio-pharmaceutical industry in China from four aspects inthe empirical analysis part. The four factors are the independent innovation resources intoinnovation output and environmental support, the capacity of innovation andtransformation, the innovation output, the environment support. It takes China’s31regionsas the object of study and uses factor analysis to determine the greater influence factor,and then uses the composite score to sequence China’s regional biomedical industry. Theempirical results show that: the biomedical industry in Suzhou, Zhejiang, Guangdong,Shanghai, Shandong, Tianjin, Beijing etc has stronger independent innovation ability, butthe industrial development in China is not balanced. Finally, it shows the inadequacies ofChina’s bio-pharmaceutical industry and put forwards some targets suggestions toimproving the ability of independent innovation of China’s bio-pharmaceutical industryaccording to China’s bio-pharmaceutical industry status quo analysis and the results ofempirical analysis,.
