Manufacturing Industry Enterprise Informatization Benefit Evaluation Based On DEA

The21st century is the era of information technology, enterprise informatization is thecornerstone of the survival and development of enterprises. With national informatizationconstruction, enterprise informatization research never interrupted, especially for theevaluation of enterprise informatization. Enterprise informatization Evaluation is thesummary and evaluation for the construction of enterprise informatization, and the correctand timely informatization evaluation can be better able to guide the construction ofenterprise informatization, avoiding the information construction astray. Construction ofinformation technology for Zhejiang manufacturing enterprises has been a very longtime, and its evaluation of informatization is meaningful。 The evaluation ofinformatization is the important content of this research. Therefore, it needs to read a lot ofliterature and comprehensive discussion of enterprise informatization, at the same timeneed to reference to other scholars of literature to establish evaluation index system forinformatization evaluation research.The informatization evaluation has some characteristics,such as efficiency hysteresis,efficiency indirectly, information complementary characteristics.So it is difficult to uantifythe qualitative indicators,to give the weight for the indicators and determine therelationship between the input and output. In order to solve these porblems, this thesischooses the DEA as the research tool, and use principal component analysis method as theauxiliary method.This thesis selects16manufacturing industry enterprise.The16companies are facingfierce market competition, so the enterprises should improve competitiveness through theinformatization construction. And it accesses easily the company data, thus the16enterprises has certain representativeness. Then selec the eight indexes to establishinformatization evaluation index system. After that, use DEA and principal componentanalysis method to analyze16manufacturing enterprises data, it draws the enterprise’sinformatization evaluation conclusion. If DEA analysis conclusion is1.000,informatization evaluation level is high, not for1.000for non DEA evaluation effective.For non DEA evaluation effective enterprise, the non DEA effective reasons andimproved methods are presented. Because weight that DEA gives every index is theoptimum, this will cause errors in evaluation conclusion. Therefore, this thesis used the principal components analysis method to determine the weights of the index, eliminatingthe errors,at the same time provide the reference for enterprises to improve theinformationization level.Finally, summarized the problems in the construction of enterprise informatizationand puted forward suggestions.
