Qinhuangdao Port Efficiency Based On Throughput Forecasting

Economic globalization makes international trade more frequently, ports participatingcountries as a national economic cooperation and competition is an important strategicresource, its planning and development is particularly important. Port throughput is animportant indicator to measure the performance of the port, port efficiency is an importantbasis for planning and construction of the port. So this article studies Qinhuangdao portefficiency based on the the throughput’s forecation of Qinhuangdao Port.The paper forecates Qinhuangdao Port throughput based on the applicationg on greyforecasting model that improved background value and initial conditions and regressionmodel. According to the prediction results using improved entropy method determinesthe individual forecasting modelweights in the optimal combination forecasting model,then draws the final forecasting results. Furthermore, this paper uses DEA model toevaluate the efficiency of the port of Qinhuangdao Port over the years and the results ofthe input-output analysis of the situation of the port. In order to obtain the portefficiency ranking results this article further induces the MDEA model, Furthermore,analyzes the future of port efficiency in the application of this model and the forecasts ofthroughput of Qinhuangdao port, concluded that the Qinhuangdao port has overloadoperation, we should moderately improve the port construction to keep up with the demandfor port development.Finally, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions on furtherdevelopment of Qinhuangdao port planning based on the text and the opportunities andchallenges currently facing the port of Qinhuangdao.
