Correlative Mechanism And The Impact Of China's Urbanization And Economic Development

Urbanization is an important phenomenon in the process of development ofChina, having a significant impact on economic and social development. China’surbanization has not just their own things, for the rest of the world economic growthalso has far-reaching significance.In this paper, on the basis of existing researchedresults, combing the related literature between urbanization and economicdevelopment and the related theory of internal mechanism, from general to specific,from theory to practice, has made a more comprehensive and systematic analysis ofthe problem between urbanization and economic development in China. The paperdefines the concept of urbanization,and then reveals the development law ofurbanization. After that, we can grasp the history and present situation of China’surbanization, find the problems existing in the process of our urbanization, and speedup the urbanization development lay the foundation for later. Next, the thesis mainlydiscusses the link between urbanization and economic development. At this time,questions become visible--the development process of China’s urbanization andeconomic development are not synchronized. It is concluded that China’s urbanizationlevel is too low, and restricts the economic development. The author, after defining the concept of urbanization, describes the law of development of urbanization in minute detail, It introduces the theory of interaction between urbanization and economic development of inner mechanism, analyzes the influence on economic development by urbanization,The third chapter first introduces the three relationships between urbanization and economic development of the world, and then uses United States and Brazil, two different countries of both economic development level and geographic location, as examples to discuss the interactive development situation of urbanization and economic development, last summarizes the inspirations to the urbanization and economic development of our country at the end of this chapter.The fourth chapter is divided into two parts to introduce the process of urbanization of China. The first part reviews the history of China’s urbanization process. According to the development of China’s urbanization speed before and after the founding of new China, the process can be divided into three phases. The second part is about the present situation of urbanization, and seize the modern urbanization problems, then proposes the present stage of China’s urbanization and economic development is not synchronous, We should combine with the problems encountered in the development of urbanization, and find the reasons of the lagging of urbanization level.The fifth chapter puts forward the countermeasures to accelerate the development of Chinese urbanization. On account of the front part for the analysis of the causes of urbanization lag, the author puts forward some countermeasures to solve the problems of the urbanization, having the confidence in the prospects of urbanization of China.The paper has achieved the research objectives in a certain extent, but fail tocreate its own measurement models to describe the quantitative relation betweenurbanization and economic development. In future we can try to use econometricmodel to do further research.
