Research On The Determinants Of Entrepreneurship Of Home-returning Migrant Workers In Neijiang City

Emerging in the social transformation in Chinese deepening its reform, the number of migrant workers are developing along with the intensification of this reform. As the increasingly loosen and superior policies for homecoming and business starting and Chinese traditional affection to hometown, the migrant workers, greatly strengthen their belief and confidence in coming back home and starting a business. In many areas of Sichuan, the tide of homecoming and starting a business is increasing day by day.Therefore, to guide the migrant workers to starting a business positively and effectively, it is necessary to research the cause and the actual state of affairs on the migrant workers coming home and starting a business.Based on the theories of sociology, economy and management, with the methods of investigation, literature study, survey, systematical analysis, induction and deduction, the thesis firstly researches the current situation of the migrant worker’s returning for venture in Neijiang, and then reorganizes some basic theories, including human capital theory, economic theory, population shift theory and Hierarchy of need theory, which are applied to this thesis.The thesis has six chapters. Chapter one is the brief introduction to the research background, significance, plan and the possible creativity and defects; chapter2refers to the related conceptions and theories, mainly on defining the related conception and summarizing the related references; chapter3is the current situation about the Neijiang migrant workers’ returning for venture; chapter4analyzes the effect of the migrant workers’ returning for venture, including the positive and negative influences, on the local economic development; chapter5analyze the factors that cause the migrant workers return home and start up in Neijiang; chapter6proposes some suggestions on pushing this returning and starting-up from the perspective of improving the political environment, increasing financial support, conducting starting-up training and constructing social environment.In a word, the factors that cause the migrant workers return home for venture is not only the impetus of the outside world, but also the subjective wishes and the realistic needs. As for the external cause, the subjective choice of the migrant workers is influenced by the national and international economic development, the stable society, the state’s industrial polices and supports and the major developing fields for the governments at all levels; to the internal cause, with the growth of the age, the factors, such as the increasing wishes for returning home and the needs for self-realization, etc., urge the migrant workers to return home and start up the business. As a result of this, the governments at all levels should be aware of the importance of their returning and starting-up, fully know and deeply analyze its positive and negative influences on the local economic and social development, perfect the supporting policies, face the potential risk actively, and combine this starting-up with the local economic and social development, and lead and support the migrant workers’ returning for venture maximumly, so as to enrich the migrant workers by enterprise, develop the local economy rapidly and improve the social harmony and stability.
