A Research Of The Level Of Urbanization Of Migrant Workers As Well As The Influential Factors

Along with the accelerating urbanization process, a large number of rural surplus labor transfer to urban, how to realize the citizenization of migrant workers and promote the development of urbanization is already the important topic in front of our country. But because our country system of social economy, national and personal factors, urbanization of rural migrant workers face barriers. This article from two aspects of the current level of urbanization of migrant workers and the influencing factors to mainly research in urbanization of migrant workers flow status, characteristics, urbanization level and the influencing factors in order to further promote urbanization of migrant workers to provide a broader policy choices.This thesis mainly conduct the following study:First, this paper analyzes the basic background of the current urbanization of migrant workers,defines the meaning of the citizenization of migrant workers, carries on the comprehensive analysis of foreign related theory.Foreign related theories about rural labor force transfer model for urbanization of migrant workers is uesfull for China, domestic research on urbanization of migrant workers base on China’s national conditions, put forward the related policies which accords with the situation of China.Secondly, this paper emphatically describe the rural surplus labor transfer from the flow quantity, employment areas, service areas, the industry, income, gender, etc.From four dimensions of the economic, social participation, their own quality of life and cultural psychological describing the citizenization of migrant workers. Through summarizing the current status of rural migrant workers flow and urbanization characteristics,this paper use three ways to quantify the level of urbanization of migrant workers, conclude that the current level of urbanization of migrant workers in more than50%of the high level. The author believes that the current urbanization of migrant workers migrant workers to higher level, by such factors as the higher education level, income level enhances unceasingly was associated.Finally, this paper analyzes the factors that influence the level of urbanization of migrant workers in our country and puts forward relevant policy suggestions and future prospects. This paper argues that the influencing factors of citizenization of migrant workers in China can be roughly divide into two categories:objective factors and subjective factors. The multiple factors of the household registration system, the income distribution system, housing conditions and education levels influence each other, So, promote system reform, improve the quality of the migrant workers themselves, establish public service system benefits for all migrant workers become the basic content of promoting urbanization of migrant workers.
