Research On China Export Product Structure Of Regional Differences And Influencing Factors Analysis

Since the reform and opening up, China’s foreign trade is developing rapidly andthe import and export volume increased continuously. The total volume of import andexport of China reached2972.76billion U.S. Dollars and has ranked the second in theworld. Now China has become a major trading country in the world.As well as thetotal volume of trade continues to grow our country’s export trade structure is alsoshowing a rapid development momentum of height.There is no double that ourcountry has become the world trading power, but our country is still not a powerfulnation. So we must solve the problem urgently，which about how to make our countrybecome a powerful trade country. However the most important is that enhance theexport product technology structure.This paper not only attempts to explore the exportproduct structure of regional differences but also analysis the influence factors ofexport product structure.First of all, the article arrange domestic and foreign literatures about exportproduct structure and point out the shortcomings.Secondly,define and classify theexport product structure before select the measurement method，beside analysistransmission mechanism of factors influencing by theory and method，as well asdiscuss the current situation and problem of export product structure in every regionin China. Thirdly，using a modified technique for complex degree method to calculateexport technical complexity in different regions of China. At the same time,usingexport similarity index to compare of the similarity between East and West of China.After that select some of variables which including human resource, natural resourceendowment, average wage, market potential, technological progress, institutionalfactors, foreign direct investment.Subsequently, make an empirical analysis forChina’s export product structure.The outcome indicate the main variables oftechnological progress,the international direct investment and the system factors hassignificant positive impact on the export of technical complexity of China’s overall aswell Eastern and western, but influence on the Eastern is greatest.Natural resourcesendowment is significant negative impact on Chinese export product structure.Finally,put forward to optimize our export products structure of technology policyrecommendations combine to the previous theoretical and empirical analysis.
