An Empirical Study On Export-structure Motivated By Technology Progress

China has become the world’s largest exporter, in the field of high-end productsit faces developed countries direct competition, and in the field of low-end productsin traditional it faces developing countries more challenges. Theoretically, theprogress of science and technology and innovation can be pregnant emergingindustries, and help to speed up the industrial upgrading, and promote theinternational division of labor deepening. Therefore, it is necessary to study theprogress of science and technology through what channel and mechanism to promoteChinese export trade structure of multidimensional optimization, whether this effect isremarkable and whether it is a structural adjustment of the export trade of endogenousdriving force. In this paper, based on a review of research, we explore the the effect ofChinese progress of science and technology on export trade structure optimization.Through the literature reading, we sort out the existing research morecomprehensive, including the export trade structure and its influencing factors,especially the progress of science and technology and relevant literature are reviewedin this article. This paper first conducts mechanism analysis about how the progress ofscience and technology influences the export trade structure optimizing, including themain definition of concept, the theory contact between the scientific andtechnological progress and the export trade structure optimization, the relationshipprinciple between the progress of science and technology and the export structureoptimization, and mechanism of action about technological progress and export tradestructure optimization. Then analysis Chinese scientific and technological progress inthe status quo, Chinese export trade structure present situation, and the relevanceabout the progress of science and technology of China and the export trade structureoptimization. Chinese export trade structure situation is discussed in detailrespectively from the export trade goods structure, export trade way structure, exporttrade mode structure and export trade market structure. And then, constructing theeconometric model, we explore the effect of Chinese progress of science andtechnology on export trade structure optimization empirically, results showed that theeffects of the progress of science and technology on export trade structure of theintegrated optimizing produce positive influence, but specific to the export structureoptimization of the different aspects, this kind of influence degree of role and significance is not the same. The promoting function of the progress of science andtechnology on the export structure optimization mainly reflects in the export tradegoods structure and trade pattern structure optimization, the influence of the exporttrade market structure and the export trade way structure are not significant. Finally,according to the study the conclusion, we put forward the relevant policyrecommendations, including increasing scientific and technological progress, andpromoting the export trade goods structure, export trade way structure, export trademode structure and export trade market structure upgrade conversion, and thenoptimizing export trade structure.
