| Since strengthen country economy was proposed in the Third Session of theSixteenth Central Committee of the Party, county economy research has yieldedabundant fruits, many theories gradually became key instruments which helpgovernment to formulate economic policies and map out economic development. Ourcountry bounds vast land and abundant resources, bordered with14courtries，along-border-county economic development is one of the most important types in thefield of county development research, which have distinct features. Strive for fast andstable development of country economy, is vital to our country overall developmentstrategy and enrich border areas people living. Despite many researches concerningcounty development, some studies on Sino-Russia border area county economy arenot enough. Since1992China’s reform and opening-up, abrupt rising of border areahas become the crucial power to drive for economic and society development.Especially, Manchuria, Heihe, Suifenhe, Hunchun city gain swift development andcontinually improve their status. Suifenhe, as the pivot point to link northeast andRussia Far East, deserve fully development particularly in recent20years. The citylies in eastern of Suifenhe-Manchuria industry belt, owns distinct area&policyadvantages. At this background，this thesis will implore county economy conception,features and trend. The thesis also analysis some mature types, drive the conclusionthat during the county development, the government should find their own featuresand characters, striving for policies, optimized economy environment and cultivatecompetitive industries. Base on the research in terms of basic information, developstages, main achievements and features, locations, policies and humanitarianadvantage to get a full picture of Suifenhe city. The thesis will discuss a series ofdisadvantages to analysis lower administration authority, limited development spaceand scarce capacity in the field of declaration. On the basis of these researches, wecan draw a conclusion that, grand Suifenhe area, especially Suifenhe city, will surely be the leader of along-border area. To push for swift and stand development is ofgreat importance to the stable and thriving development of border area. The lastsection, the author propose that, to develop county development, Suifenhe shouldfollow the principles that develop trade and traveling, actively promote transformationand upgrading of industry, cast eyes on industry park construction, gradually boostrural urbanization.
