Research Of Agricultural Information Service System In Grassroots

Information services are urgently needed in Agriculture which is the basis and vulnerable industries of the national economy. Sound primary agricultural information service system is basic of improving the agricultural information resource utilization and service levels. The relationships between agricultural information service institution and human resources, information technology infrastructure, agricultural information resources and information technology, management system and other elements are explored. Main features of grassroots agricultural information service system and its importance to the development of modern agriculture are proposed in this paper. Based on explaining the grassroots agricultural information service system evaluation indicator, reasonable inference about development advantages and disadvantages of Hunan Province grassroots agricultural information service system is made, through evaluating and analyzing Hunan agricultural information infrastructure, information resource development, application of information technology, service providers and qualified personnel, policy and regulatory system, and other status quo. After typical analyzing domestic and international agricultural information service system success model, it is put forward as follow:The grassroots agricultural information service system should be gradually established and improved in China, beginning with agricultural information technology infrastructure, capital investment, qualified personnel, information resource development and application of information technology, information management system.
