Xiaoshan Airport Logistics Environment Analysis And Cargo Business Reengineering Planning Research

There are many ways for aviation logistics enterprises to improve their competitive advantages. Among those ways, the advantage of using business process reengineering is obvious. Process Reengineering (BPR, Business Process Reengineering) for a modern enterprise management is a very important management tool."To improve the main operating base of modern enterprise, such as cost, quality, service, speed, etc., the workflow needs a fundamental rethinking and radical reform." Process reengineering is the improvement of the process through comprehensive and detailed analysis of all aspects of business process in original production company, including every aspect of the entire production with regards of service and business processes in order to optimize those unreasonable and unnecessary parts, which leads to a radical change and re-design of the institution.Xiaoshan International Airport is the second largest international airport of East China. It is the major domestic airport known as main tourist destination airport and regular international flights airport, which is also the main alternate airport of Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Since start of operation in December of2000, the sales performance of the airport logistics have kept increasing stably. It does not only ease the situation that supply falls short of demand in the domestic airline market in China, but also makes itself develop and expand very fast. The domestic air cargo enterprises are facing a more fiercely competitive environment now. The key point that air cargo logistic department of Xiaoshan International airport should focus on is how to fully develop the air cargo logistics competitiveness of their own, and decide about the direction of future development under the domestic and oversea environmental factors.In this paper, we present the process plan of an air cargo logistic company using the reengineering process and formulate a set of reengineering design for the process, based on the market environment of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport air cargo logistics and the analysis of the current development situation and development trends of domestic air cargo logistics, in the context of internal and external environment factors. By the analysis of existing problems, we give the integration of logistic planning and process design of Xiaoshan international airport.
