| ABSTRACT:From reforming and opening up over30years, China’s international construction contractors has made great achievement in international project contracting, giving birth to a large number of outstanding international construction contractors.However, at present, the development is still extensive and low profitable. Face the new international market trends, China’s international construction contractors how to transform and upgrade, rebuild or optimize enterprise value chain, realizing the development of enterprises to a higher level become an important issue in this dissertation.Based on value chain theory and enterprise upgrading theory, this dissertation takes international construction contractors as research subjects. At first, review and analysis of the situation of China’s international construction contractors overseas, points out the key problems which restrict the development of the enterprise deep at present stage. And then analyses the composition of the external value system and enterprise’s internal value chain, draw lessons from the thinking of transformation and upgrading of top international contractors, clear the direction of the transformation and upgrading of China’s international construction contractors, build four upgrade path--technology development upgrade model, intensive management upgrade model, vertical integration and horizontal diversification upgrade model. Finally, from three aspects of enterprises government, industry organizations and financial institutions, the dissertation put forward countermeasures for transformation and upgrading. |
